H town for humanity

As a company that proudly supports numerous charities, we are happy to report that our first fundraiser for H Town For Humanity (HTFH) benefitting refugees in Houston was a great success.

In what little spare time she has, General Manager Sandra Landrock helps HTFH with its social media presence. She also spoke with Alexandra Engelhard, founder of this nonprofit organization: "H town for Humanity helps refugees seeking asylum in Houston.
Things are moving very fast," says Alexandra, who not only grew up in Russia but also has many Ukrainian friends. "I started HTFH at the beginning of March. Since then, we have set up a website and helped 7 families! 4 families are from Ukraine, 2 are from Russia and 1 is from Belarus."

Smile Drive

February is National Children’s Dental Health Month. In honor of this day, GETT North America and our German headquarters donated 650 tubes of toothpaste to the 650 students of Parkwood Elementary in Pasadena, Texas. During the pandemic, we continued our commitment to the community by donating hand sanitizers to Parkwood Elementary School.

Keyboard Donations

“Not all angels have wings. Some have stethoscopes.” 

As a thank you to healthcare professionals around the world, we donate washable keyboards from time to time. Infection prevention is a very important issue! Keyboards and mice make perfect breeding grounds for germs and bacteria. Waterproof keyboards can be easily disinfected to prevent the spread of germs and protect medical personnel and patients.

Hurricane Harvey

Our team's "anything is possible" mentality has helped turn things around. In our first year of presence, Houston was hit by Hurricane Harvey. We acted quickly and created a group of 10 volunteers within 12 hours of the storm's onset. For the next three months, we met every week to help with relief efforts.
